Chair Miller and Rep. Bishop On Importance of Student Loan Reform
Today, the House passed the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act (HR 3221) by a bipartisan vote of 253 to 171. The legislation will make college dramatically more affordable for millions of Americans, at no new cost to taxpayers and will move the US closer to reaching President Obamas goal of having the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020.
